Надеждата за възкресението образува основата на вярата на всеки истински християнин. Знаем, че вярата се основава на възкресението на Исус от мъртвите, което е записано единодушно от евангелията и представено като достоверен факт.
In the Bible, we find the word “today” mentioned in many cases that have been of great importance to the sinner who so much needs salvation and freedom from sin.
“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.” 1 Peter 1:18-21.
The silent submission of Christ impressed the scene upon their minds – a scene that was never to be erased, until they should acknowledge Him as Christ, or decide their own fate by rejecting Him.
What love is this!? Dear reader, do you know the Son of God who died for you on Calvary? Do you comprehend how great is the love of God towards you, so that he gave his only-begotten Son as a sacrifice for you so that you would receive the true, future eternal life that was lost because of sin? Is there a place in your heart and home for this kind, loving Savior? How terrible is life without the Savior!?
Christ has come to this earth to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and to set at liberty them that are bruised. Isaiah 61:1. This is the reason why he said to the people:
Christ, the Son of God, left Heaven’s glory to save the sons of men who had sunk into misery and sins but who strove for happiness and life. To reveal the Father, to seek those who were lost, and to win eternal redemption – this was the mission of Christ.
